F. A. Q.
1. Do you sell clock parts?
Yes,
I do.
I sell directly from this website. I am
not setup to
take debit or credit cards, so all sales will
be paid by
check or money order. If you contact me I will
check on availability
of part you need, and give you a
price and cost of shipping,
so you can write a check. I
can take a photo of the part if you need
it, but all parts
are in fully useable condition. Any parts I sell are the
same as I use in repairs.
2. Do you do clock repairs for the public?
I do not do any clock repair
work for the
public.--at 76 years I am not sure I
could complete a repair and
give it the proper warranty.
3. Do you plan on other videos?
Possibly---if the demand in there.
4. How do you ship to me?
Shipment is done as soon as your check clears.
I ship by USPS in a
padded box or bubble wrap envelope
The items will be
shipped by USPS Ground Advantage.
This now can handle up to 70
pounds anywhere in lower 48 states.
I usually ship the next
day unless bad weather.
5. Do you sell any pocket watch parts?
I do not have any watch parts left.
I do have a few old working pocket watches that I am selling.--Mostly Elgins and
Walthams--7 to 15 jewels. ($50 and up)
None have gold
cases---most are steel, and all have been dissassembled fully and cleaned,
oiled, and run for several days
on the bench. They keep
time within a few minutes per week, but you will need to adjust to where you
live. I will guarantee
any of these for 1 year, or I will
replace with a similar watch.
